noel picked me and van oops its 'van and I' from our respective houses..
noel's dad didnt try testing my mandarin this time (coz im good already ahahah JK) and he noted that van ran like as if she was escaping from her own house smth like "FREEDOM! THIS IS MY ONLY CHANCE" as she sprinted down the driveway ehheh gotta agree with him on that one..too bad i didnt take a pic oh wait itll b gone anyway

so we arrived at mcd, i nearly got banged by a car as usual and van managed to drag me to safety hehehehe

saw siaw coming out of mcd so we hauled her back in.. instead of ordering food we sat at a table whipping out our cameras and started taking pics of each other and chatting loudly that the ppl nxt to our table were staring at us

they must b thinking 'WA, TOURIST AH? NEED TO TAKE PHOTO AT MCD"

they dunno that its not the place but the ppl in the pic that was important..duh


1st of all, ild like to complain that my hair has gone frizzy and totally unmanageable since i came abck from hk..this picture is proof..am annoyed..saying no more of it

noel took this photo, and announced "GUESS WHOS THE ONE POSING A LOT?" and immediately eyes fell on me.. whaaa did i do?? does this look like posing alot to u?? noo i dun think so :)

we walked, actually ran to parkson because it was drizzling ...while waiting for the rain to stop so we could head over to star, we went browsing around..

20 mins later, rain not stop so what did we do? head over to the supermarket to buy an umbrella ..it was raining like mad ok.. i got pictures of noel, van and siaw trying to pick out the biggest yet cheapest umbrella BUT i dlt them remember..damn.. and noel posing with our chosen green umbrella b4 we paid.



this is us b4 heading out..im in the middle and so admittedly i got the least wet..so i got scolded the most..:P kla in rememberance of both of you 'heroes' no wait 'heroines' all out in protecting me i announce to the world that "YES, ITS TRUE VAN AND SIAW WENT ALL OUT TO GET DRENCHED SO THAT I AM SAFE AND UNWET..ALL HAIL THEM" hahah happy? but thx :)






finally got to star watched eragon and noel was swearing and making alot of noise becoz he thought the movie was not up to par, WHILE WE WERE WATCHING IT..ppl also wanna watch u noe

winston drove us to mcd..hehe so we neednt walk..yay so he is another hero of te day..yay winston hahaha i will post a pic of him but i remember him objecting violently..so its ok
besides i have no pic of him coz noel din send it to me..lets blame him instead..JK

talked alot..goes to show it doesnt really matter where u put is, we still had a great time..i speak for all..i am tempted to gush on about the 'power of friendship' but im lazy so sue me

winston offered to drive us home! how nice of him..we would repay him with free rides when we get our license we told him..but hmm knowing us, i dont think he'ld want to if he treasure his life :)

law thingy

today we went for the law thingy for driving.. 5 hours of listening to the drone of one man, mr. adam something .. dreadfully boring

it all started bright and early, actually way too early for me, noel picked me and we both went to emm's house..

noel was pressing the doorbell relentlessly, we thought emm was still sleeping heheh while i took pictures of the outside of her house and then we heard tania going 'AH I DONT KNOW WHICH WAN TO OPEN THE GATE!" haha tania was earlier than us!

finally the gate was opened, we were wrong emm was already up..lazed around while tania played the piano and i, the big big grey ball wad is it called? aerobic ball? exercise ball?wadever but it sure was big and noel goofing about..we all waited for chin boon hoping she'll arrive b4 the instructor came to pick us up :)

and you know what? she came exactly the same time as the instructor..cool

we were sent to bintawa..was it called bintawa? dont care. and we were signed up and ready to go ..

ok i expected a huge auditorium honestly which could fit loads of people in it and microphone and speakers everywhere and comfy chairs..instead we were rushed into this..this room where on the outside reads'bilik kuliah 2' , wooden college type of table-chair thing which gives me no space to do anything.. gah i pity the poor girl sitting nxt to me, she always had to pick up all the stuff that i accidentally dropped..ehheh and it wasnt just once or twice..more like 6 times :)

whaat i didnt do it on purpose! honest!

so begins the talk...boring boring boring.. we received two books ..i guess its 60 bucks each since we paid 120 for the whole thing today..bleh

luch time! the canteen was hot, stuffy and full of flies..argh.. noel complained that we complained too much..look whos talking eh.. after lunch we just sat at our table, the flies were unbearable so tania decided to..well, catch them more like contain them in emm's tania's and noel's cups after they finished their drinks..

u shud haf seen tania's face man.. she was all expressionless and suddenly when flies started coming she was so happy and her eyes went wide with anticipation..finally she caught two flies using a tissue paper to cover the cup the flies were trapped in..and we watched them die as they drowned in the melted ice..and laughed our heads off hahaha SEE, THIS IS WHAT 5 HOURS OF TALK WILL DO TO YOU..

never thought he will end the talk!! keep going on and on and started showing at least a few dozen of accident clips which left me..annoyed.. u see the faces on the clips in the beginning and u can just guess what happens to them..they die, horribly..i dont really think scaring people will lessen the accident rates. in fact, it scared me so much i dont think ild b driving alot if i get my license save for emergencies..shudders

going home was the best time of the day...i might as well tell u this, uld find out from noel anyway.. :P at the carpark was my intructor's car, nxt to his was another car very similar to him..yea uve guessed it..i tried yanking the car door to the other car thinking i was at the right one..when i heard "YOU TRYING TO HIJACK THAT CAR AH? WALAU U HAVENT GOT LICENCE U NOE" it was noel obviously.. blehhh hahahah happy to be home

my test is on thursday..wish me luck

the meet

theres a christmas evangelical meeting at acs tonight by my church and since my dad is performing ( there'll def be loads of pics !) he has to go early..i think mayb 4? for rehearsal or smth..so most likely if im going i haf to walk there which isnt far..

dun worry la my maids accompanying me..besides i know kung fu...(cough)

i wont tell u the time im leaving for the thing so that no potential stalker kidnapper raper is gonna get me..

a bit of chobits

i watched my first episode of CHOBITS yesterday..

actually i didnt plan on watching it, i was just browsing thru astro when i came upon chobits on animax..

first thing that hit me was..ahh thats van's email add..always wondered what on earth chobits meant

ok ok, so i half expected little hobbits running around in a shire- like environment, turns out its a story between a guy and duh a girl altho i dunno if shes really a girl she keeps saying 'Chiii.." to my annoyance...

because u cant tell much about a series from just one episode and wads really going on in it, go ask van for more details

what i thought of it? slightly a little too slow for me..i mean one scene takes about 10 seconds before any character decides to do something so it kinda bore me after awhile...

i need lightning quick reflexes and actions like from totally spies man..(ehheh too much disney)

oh yeah while i was fiddling with my camera (its pink!.. typical) trying to see whether or not the dlt pics might somehow be in sum kinda folder or smth, i spilled some water on it..ahhhhh goes to show u just cant trust non water-proof, splash-proof, drop- proof things in my hands

i was lying on my bed so i quickly wiped off the moisture (wah so scientific)/removed the liquid(wah even more scientific..ok enuf with that) and i accidentally took my own pic while examining to see if the water went into the lens..

i know i know, i see the sweat sign on beside ur heads..hehheh and going 'checking lens also can take picture wan you' it sounds like siaw hui rite? hahahah JK JK JK JK siaw dun dun do anything..um impulsive on me

you know how? by accidentally pressing the shutter button laa dummy...ahhahaha ok im getting so lame like...someone who sat nxt to me in f5 on my right...JK

hmmmm....

ok so the post on siaw's outing is saved as draft now till i can get hold of pics from noel's camera which i hope to be SOON! hehe

anyway, take it from here as an example to always ALWAYS know what the words on your shirt really mean,esp when youre not familiar with the language ASK SOMEONE before you get blogged about. ;)

i just came back from piano class..

two hours of copying notes on the history of music really would kill the nerve endings of your hand..

perhaps its coz it felt like ages since i held a pen but after i was done, (well actually i wasnt, i havent even finished the whole of baroque period perhaps my teacher let me go seeing the pain my fingers gave me) i found that the skin on my fingers where i gripped the pen tightly, were peeling off..argh

and then i started to get worried, more than my usual worried self..worried i wont be able to pass my diploma in piano..

she explained it already the other day about how i needed to pass all the components in order to pass unlike grade 1-8 where it doesnt matter if u fail one or two components as long as the total mark is 100 or above.. and the one component in diploma im afraid of is the sight reading..

WHY? why cant they cancel it out like what they did to the scales and aural?

ive never been good in sight reading..how on earth can i sight read for my exam?? i have to start all the way back in grade 1 sight reading i think..arghh

oh well, ild try my best i guess afterall its still quite a long way to go for the exams..

even if i fail it at least i have my grade 8 cert to fall back to incase i ever need to teach piano.

in other non-related news, im even more depressed to hear about siaw hui going off earlier than i expected..dec 21..thats like..4 days to go.. scratch that its TWO DAYS TO GOand so ..tml will b our last day out..

i mean i know you will be leaving us siaw, but i didnt think it'll be so soon..

perhaps it was the sudden-ness that took me by surprise.. i mean i knew u were going off since what? we were in form 1 that uld b going off to melb.. i jsut didnt think it'll be jsut around the corner

i'ld miss u dearly siaw.. if this turns out to b mushy and crappy i dun really care.. we practically grew up together..11 yrs no wait i think its 13 yrs

goodness and now ur already announcing that ur leaving, and early. i dont know what to say

ur right it will never b the same again even if u do come back to visit us once in a while.. it'll be all different now..perhaps thats what just dawned to me.. it really is true

look at how our friendship.. altho we have our misunderstandings, moments of doubts with each other and of our stubbornness..i think i did the right thing in kindy A when i shyly extended my hand to you, asking of your friendship.

doorbell

you know who interrupted my post just now with the ringing of the doorbell?? i was typing quite happily when the doorbell rang..

it either meant someone was here to fix things or scouts asking to fill in forms of survey so i didnt bother cause usually my maid takes care of it.

but it rang and again for about a millionth time, slightly annoyed i peered down the window of my parents bedroom..and who do i see??

my aunt and uncle!! hehe they came all the way from sri aman to kuching by taxi coz they were going to catch a plane to singapore where one of my cousins live and i didnt know they were coming today..oops silly me

my aunts quite a good cook and so since my mom is not back yet, we had a nice meal prepared by her :)

i think i can make it for the driving thingy u guys are going for this saturday.. i asked my dad he said he was ok with it as long as i found a replacement class for my piano lesson on saturday which shuld b no problem..i hope

I'M BACK JUST YESTERDAY! woohoooo...after 10 days ( is it ten? dun care) im finally back in kuching.. plenty of pics to upload but thats for next time when im feeling slightly more hardworking. :) ah i know, ild tell u about my trip WHEN i upload the pics..better that way so tht i dun need to write so much hehehe..hmm i can hear siaw hui's mind saying "THAT WOULD BE NEVER!!"

let me try to predict what will happen on noel's birthday if i did go since ive been to one i agak agak know liao...

i cant remember why i wasnt allowed to play last time i think it was because i was about to leave also so im not suppose to get wet too much

then then then everyone will dry up and hang around watching tv , playing cards and then barbeque time! unfortunately i didnt get to stay for it the last time
