yup blogging to take a break from studying. i need a miracle to pass!
anyway,
glasgow was as my dad described it.(he spend a year there doing his scottish higher leaving cert) grey and gloomy. morning, afternoon no difference still grey and gloomy. day 2 and we were already feeling slightly depressed! how do the glasgowians survive??
but of course with good company all these were overlooked. :D
it was lovely! more of a relaxed setting than the fast paced one in belfast. couldve spend more time at kevingrove art museum tho. now that i think of it, i kinda miss the hostel and its retro vibe. i hate the beds tho. so terribly hard.
that week was the most hectic week ever! BRIEF RECAP.
tuesday we attended evelyn's carolling thing. omg shes so amazing on the piano. wednesday spent time decorating the christmas tree for pmc farewell. thursday, pmc farewell itself, was a volunteer to serve food to the vips. am happy to report it was a thundering success mainly because i didnt trip or drop a steaming plate of food on anyone :D the whole team did well. everything went smoothly and everyone, i can safely say, thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
was even pulled into an irish dance! omg i didnt know what was i doing, my partner, a lady who i was serving, grabbed me by the hand and pulled me to the dance floor once Dr McGarvey called for participants! just mimicking all her steps and failing miserably. good fun.
a bunch of seniors sang 'leaving on a jet plane' they tweaked the lyrics abit.it was sooo sad i almost cried. and its not even my farewell! im sure when its my turn to leave ild be losing gallons of tears.
went home that night and had to cram for cardsigning which after a few hours i just went 'AH SCREW IT' and went to bed.
friday, alarm went off , kinda threw it across the room. late for class, cardsigning at 2pm and i got kelly! someone you never ever want to get for cardsigning. he has a great reputation for asking the most 'amazing' qns. was 1st up, asked me EXACTLY what i didnt want to be asked. the details of the uterus's lymphatics which i only know a general view of. yup, its so my day!
drilled me summore. in the end,
'you get a B+, you're very near an A'
wow, that really helps. only one guy managed to scrape an A off him. salutations.
rushed home, got to the tourism centre, changed our euros to pounds and then did the mcq test. it was so.freakin.hard.period. did laundry and packed for glasgow and slept at 3am. left dublin and touched down preswick airport at about noon.
came back on monday night. trouble at the airport. sooo frustrating! but thats another story to tell another time.
its not that glasgow's terrible. but as we were walking through grafton street with the lights up for christmas at midnight dragging our luggage bags to the dorm, we realised, dublin really is home.
yeah, dublins not all that but its funny how in just two short months, it has captured our hearts. baile atha cliath, its good to be back. :)

SIGH!
pictures of belfast-giant's causeway-derry is up on facebook. :)
arghhh cant take anymore anatomy facts of the abs anymoree! been procrastinating all weekend, i feel so damn guilty and its 1048pm. and i dont remember how i persuaded myself to come online and here i am blogging! and im using too many ands. oh well since im at it might as well rant in full glory.
4 days to friday, the final cardsigning of the sem! need to learn lowerlimb-abs-pelvic!on the same day, theres an online mcq test on whatever we have learnt so far which for me is nada. exams are in a month and im supposed to have covered at least half the material!! pmc farewell dinner on thurs which im helping to decorate..OMG!!
positive note: will be spending the weekend+ monday at glasgow after this hectic week so im quite looking forward to it.
hmm i think i should start camping at the library. without my laptop (stupid facebook) and surround myself with books. maybe info would get into my brain by osmosis. =.=' thank god the hbs assignment is out of the way. its 15% of finals so pleaase let it be good. ive seen sample qns on hbs which is OMG.wth.is. going.on inducing, its thinking skills over again!! well, at least no math..
people generally know how to study as in they know what works for them/ having certain study habits which effectively helped them over the years. like making certain types of notes or getting up earlier to study and stuff.y'noe the study patterns. BUT I DONT! all i do is cram during the last week and have lots and lots of luck which is running out. and prayer. but if dont do my part its not like God will want to do His! oh woe is me. yup i brought this on myself. ah please please please if i pass 1st sem i will read through my notes everynight!! no, REALLY! ok this wont work.
its not that im not interested in what im studying, i am. if i took it one day at a time instead of leaving it off to the last minute where it doesnt matter if i liked it or not i just have to get the facts in. and that is NOT fun. i never learn, do i?
okayyy back to my gray's anatomy for students with online access and interactive extras(studentconsult.com). yes, i stared at the cover so many times while willing myself to study that i can memorise it. as if 'name your anatomy book- 10 marks' would ever come out in exams. :P
ah..glasgoww!!!! i mean, er, abdomen!!

weekend getaway
jasmine is going on vay-kay tomorrow!!
ahhh so excited!
hopefully when i get back i would be filled with some supernaturalpower thingy and start studying like mad for the exams. been focusing only on anatomy thanks to the cardsignings so i gotta work doubly hard for the rest :(
of course this is easier said than done and you dont need to be a fortune teller to predict what my next couple of posts would be about since exams are looming. and im so sure i would be making resolutions on how i would be preparing early for the NEXT exams(if there would be a next one). yeah ive been doing that for the last..how many years? and it still has remained just that; a resolution. :(
oh well, i just want to pass!!
anyway back to the happy forget about studying im on vacation part, 8 of us are going to belfast! we organised it ourselves, booked the rooms, bought the tickets, changed our euros to pounds and getting ready for the super freakin cold weather that would definately hit us. :D
i havent packed yet and my room looks like its just been hit by tornadoes :D :D haha okay i sound abit demented now. but yayyyy! will post up pics if nothing goes wrong eg, FORGOT TO BRING CAMERA OH NO!!!
if you follow my blog you would note that cameras and i dont really have a mutual understanding. soo let me tell you of a recent incident to bring the 'OMG-jasmine-should-never-be-entrusted-with-a-camera' up to a full notch. on our trip to the guinness storehouse (its a kinda like a museum on guinness. i loved it btw, they really made good use of technology and blending in old and new), i happily whipped out my camera, mentally patting myself on the back for BRINGING it and within seconds it DIED...AGAIN! and i thought i charged it recently when it was weeks ago =.=' hohoho so clever.
hope the trip goes well. will update as soon as i can :D

wheeeeee
i guess its normal when its your 1st time doing something and anxiety, doubts and fear builds up.but you have NO IDEA how freaked out i was for the 1st cardsigning of my life.
yeah that was what i had today. it was scary being shot questions at with everyone in the team watching you. and who better to test our knowledge than PROF FARRELL. the guy who encouraged the slaughtering of malaysians =.="
and i would spare you the endless details to say,

pictures!
i like my hair.

and i hate how it looks now!(taken in my apartment, ireland) i feel like my head is twice the size as it should be.

okayy. enough about me :P
the rest of the pictures were taken while on my way to another mall in dublin 1.
sorry if its abit blur and little,
was in a hurry to get there since it was cold and the sky was threatening to cry giant tears
along grafton street.flowers! i like!
so empty! usually its packed with people and performers but i was early.
trinity college. the outside of it. notice the brown door? once u go in, its acres of land stretching out with different buildings like the 1st one ive shown you. very beautiful. it feels more like a museum and park kinda place instead of a uni.i mean you can see groups of tourists are brought around and stuff.
bank of ireland. back entrance. front is grander but i had to be at the other far side of the road to take a full view pic with all its statues. next time :)
as you can see, this shot is has a bit of darkish tint but still okay.anything after this shot is destroyed by the blackening sky.very gloomy. like the one below.

Terry Fox
While in hospital, Terry was so overcome by the suffering of other cancer patients, many of them young children, that he decided to run across Canada to raise money for cancer research.
He would call his journey the Marathon of Hope.
After 18 months and running over 5,000 kilometres (3,107 miles) to prepare, Terry started his run in St. John’s, Newfoundland on April 12, 1980 with little fanfare. Although it was difficult to garner attention in the beginning, enthusiasm soon grew, and the money collected along his route began to mount. He ran 42 kilometres (26 miles) a day through Canada's Atlantic provinces, Quebec and Ontario.
It was a journey that Canadians never forgot.
However, on September 1st, after 143 days and 5,373 kilometres (3,339 miles), Terry was forced to stop running outside of Thunder Bay, Ontario because cancer had appeared in his lungs. An entire nation was stunned and saddened. Terry passed away on June 28, 1981 at age 22.
The heroic Canadian was gone, but his legacy was just beginning.
To date, more than $400 million has been raised worldwide for cancer research in Terry's name through the annual Terry Fox Run, held across Canada and around the world
But I soon realized that that would only be half my quest, for as I went through the 16 months of the physically and emotionally draining ordeal of chemotherapy, I was rudely awakened by the feelings that surrounded and coursed through the cancer clinic. There were faces with the brave smiles, and the ones who had given up smiling. There were feelings of hopeful denial, and the feelings of despair. My quest would not be a selfish one. I could not leave knowing these faces and feelings would still exist, even though I would be set free from mine. Somewhere the hurting must stop... and I was determined to take myself to the limit for this cause.
From the beginning the going was extremely difficult, and I was facing chronic ailments foreign to runners with two legs in addition to the common physical strains felt by all dedicated athletes.
But these problems are now behind me, as I have either out-persisted or learned to deal with them. I feel strong not only physically, but more important, emotionally. Soon I will be adding one full mile a week, and coupled with weight training I have been doing, by next April I will be ready to achieve something that for me was once only a distant dream reserved for the world of miracles – to run across Canada to raise money for the fight against cancer.
The running I can do, even if I have to crawl every last mile.
We need your help. The people in cancer clinics all over the world need people who believe in miracles.
I am not a dreamer, and I am not saying that this will initiate any kind of definitive answer or cure to cancer. But I believe in miracles. I have to.

party!
Yay! Our birthday surprise did work. Yvonne was totally caught off handed! Its her birthday tomorrow and since we found out she wont be around, we moved the pot luck up yesterday.
Everyone was like in a flurry after friday's class and there was a big confusion over who is actually cooking what. Haha we ended up cooking too much rice and so we had some sort of a fried rice party for dinner just now :P like 3 variations of fried rice? hehe AND even after, theres still leftover rice. so tomorrow is another shot at it.
Everyone gathered in her apartment (she shares with a few others so we gained easy access) at 6.15pm while she was out. So we had everything ready, just waiting for the birthday girl. Her sister came over from ucd and she had with her a brownie cake she baked. OMG it was sooooo good!! our plan to hide in one of the rooms and pounce on her screaming 'SURPRISE!!'. the timing didnt work out but she was still thoroughly shocked :)
Went well. Was really fun. Lovely company, loads of laughter, jokes. Home-cooked good food and about 6 litres of orange soda! :D
i charged my camera! Hallelujah. But the weather today wasnt so good so the pictures i took came out with dark, grey emo sky. Super freezing cold today. well, everyday it is, but today was SUPER super.
time for a nice cup of hot chocolate. brilliant.

random moments
the irish are starting to speak manglish!
michael john: HEY you said 'LAH' !! what does it mean?
we explained saying its a kind of a reinforcement for..ANYTHING, gave examples like 'of course lah, yeslah, nolah, i dont knowlah'
he tried out a few sentences by randomly adding lah into them. looking so serious hahha
another guy: michael, what are you doing??
michael: im working the 'lah' !
:P
__________________________________________________________
Elijah, in deep thought, crossing the road, suddenly turned around to the bunch of us behind him.
'EH, ORANGE GROWS FROM ORANGE TREES AR???'
he was so random, surprised, and his expression made us break into fits of laughter.
someone: 'if not? apple trees ?'
Elijah: 'nolah , maybe they grow from the ground wad'
i love moments like these.

yoooo
what ive been up to the past week.
being soaked.
been rainy quite abit these days.
our seniors are such sweeties. :) they organised a bbq for us on friday but it was super rainy so we settled indoors instead.all in all, very nice. key words to make my life simpler :P : camden hotel. good company. budweisers. magic tricks. fooood. st. bernard. 30 cents
did my garda card the next day! immigration thing so i dont get deported :P i was so happy because i thought it was a one shot thing but then someone told me we have to renew it every year. :( we met up at 530am and started walking in the freezing cold to the immigration office to queue up outside the freakin building. we sacrificed good amounts of sleep because by 6-ish, the queue is all around the building. not bad la considering out seniors went at THREE AM last year! like what?? too much man. might as well camp there.
walking around in single digit temperature is okay, staying motionless for hours in such condition is another matter. so sleep deprived we look like hobos sitting out in a line :P have to go thru that 2 more times. ah, joy.
at night we went for the mini-oktoberfest! the real one is munich so they hold a small one here in dublin! i think its their 1st year doing this? anyway the food on sale was soooooooooo goood. and expensive but what the hell, its only here once a year. and no, i didnt get drunk :) heh no pictures but i think my friends have some. we managed to coerce a woman dressed in those maiden costumes complete with wooden basket to take a pic with us. :D
i hate rain. it makes everything look so gloomy. anatomy is still a bother. even the prosactor today demonstrating on my group cadavers told us that he thinks its not a good idea to shove a whole load of info suddenly down our throats. things which we have no clue and background about. oh well. cardsigning is up on nov 7!!! card signing sounds like...signing greeting cards right? but not here! its when the anatomy profs quizzes you individually on anatomy and the marks add up to your final mark. so scary man.
terry fox run is on this sunday! i dont know if i want to go since its running. something im not very keen or good at :P but its for charity. ild think about it.
just came back from fencing. we get to wear the costume and stuff. pretty cool. had a real match today and really its a good workout. when u watch it on tv, it looks like ah, just stabbing and stuff. but its fast and once youre in it, you really work up a sweat. and its damn tiring. theres a match on sunday but us newbies only had like, one practice? :P
ok better wash up. g'night loves

:)
its 11.44pm and i have good news. MY MSNGER WORKS! still experiencing little kinks in it but however imperfect it is i just feel so much better signed in even if no one is awake. its like as if im connected home.
i have an 8am lecture tomorrow and im dead tired. today's timetable was insane. and even though im tired to the bone, i just cant get to sleep. so here i am typing away to at least feel like i did something productive (nevermind the tons of lecture notes im supposed to go over). i can hear laughter from the streets below my windows.the night is young. ild take pictures soon when i finally charge my camera. :D which would be never. i better make it a point. i missed so many lovely photo opps of the place but im here for quite sometime so no worries!
do you watch scrubs? the comedy series thing? i dont. but if youre familiar with the series, the TODD or robert maschio came to royal for a stand up comedy thing. pretty fun albeit obscene. haha.
if you happen to have the pleasure of chatting with me probably around exams coming about its common to hear me say OMG IM SO DEAD or IM GOINGG TO DIEEE
and in one of the lectures yesterday, the lecturer was going on about people losing blood. all of a sudden he looked across the hall and went,(vaguely and not word for word)
'Anyone from Malaysia?'
a few hands went up
'Are any of you malaysians involved in a street gang in malaysia? Have you killed anyone?'
what the... if we did we wont tell you right? :) so no hands went up
and then he continues
'Okay, so you guys are shy about that so how do you go about killing a malaysian?'
noises from the audience
'Well, normally i would suggest cutting anyone at the throat from behind. that does the trick, i mean, if you stab me in the spleen (he's irish) i would lose a substansial amount of blood but not fatally. malaysians, however, have a high rate of splenomegaly among them where their spleens are enlarged. so stab them in the spleen, they lose a hefty amount of blood and die'
more noises from the audience
and he tops it off with
' if you dont like a certain malaysian classmate of yours, you can try that out'
:P yeah, thanks alot Prof Farrell, for reducing my life expectancy.
NOW YOU KNOW!
okay i better get some sleep before i dose off in embryology lectures in 8 hours time. i only have 2 tomorrow! yay! and then some reading to catch up on. i always tell myself i would, TOMORROW and never happen. the faculty keeps telling us of how people fail because they left their studying to NOVEMBER. wth thats like only one month of slacking =.=' so yeah wish me luck. gonna need loads of it.

Eireann
Hello everyone! Im doing well in Ireland, settling in bit by bit and adjusting to the cold. I wanted to blog earlier on but just couldnt find the time so now, instead of going through my anatomy notes, im here... =.=" so typical right? :P
i arrived last friday and at that time, the weather was awesome! nothing like how everyone describes it and we were starting to get used to it until middle of the week when it started to get colder and colder. now its FREEZING! and its not even winter yet! so i dont want to know how winter would be like.
oh yeah 1st things 1st before i start brambling on and on.
HOW TO CONTACT ME. (whoa, its like a manual)
I have my new mobile/landline/address! so if you want it, please e-mail me and ild gladly comply. do NOT instant message me on msn because its not working on this laptop the school gave. some of my friends here found a way to bypass that but i didnt have the time to get it done. so many things to do! i have skype though and im still learning how to use it! i tell you technology hates me but this time i must conquer it! :P and i have a new webcam. yay.
i have to be online basically most of the time (which is not a good idea because see, what am i doing now?) because all my lecture notes, timetable even attendance and everything under the sun to do with sch is on their portal. so if i lose my laptop...heh. and they communicate with us using our student email accounts so ild be checking that practically daily and more often than my hotmail so if you guys are in dire need to contact me (which i doubt would ever come to that) you can always email me there.
oh yeah speaking of which, it has come to my attention that my previous post seem to generate some speculation that its about a certain somebody. and so i exclaim, 'OH PLEASE!' and lets leave it at that. i would like to add on but umm i better not :)
anyway, i have a rant! we had our 1st anatomy class on friday and OMG its so freakin hard. i didnt understand A WORD the lecturer was saying. with all the new medical vocabs like medial to this and lateral to that...ahhhhhhhhh! i guess it would get better when i get use to it but till then, AHHHHHHHHhhhhh. we're starting on the lower limb. i hope i survive. we got to dissect ( is that the right word?) the cadavers. it was so cool! i really admire those who sacrificed their bodies to be right under our scalpels. i mean how many of us would actually do that?
my sch is pretty welcoming. we had the white coat ceremony a few days ago and the speeches were so touching. the together-ness, the reassurance. remind me of times like these when im losing all hope.
i like the atmosphere here. its lively, sometimes too lively but it still has its serene side.dont know how to explain. its just different from what im used to. the people, how theyre so open and sporting and stuff. when we 1st touched down in ireland it was 745am dublin time and immediately our seniors brought us around. the buildings are so lovely. esp the churches! with its gothic look and the beautiful parks. ild have to take out some time and really explore those. i cant study all the time right.
i joined 14 clubs! talk about semangat man. well, it was free so we all just signed up for anything that remotely interests us and then later when we work out our scheldule only really commit to a few.
theres actually so much more things to say but i think i should stop here. its getting so long! and i dont want to bore you :) all in all, im pretty contented at the moment.it got pretty lonely the 1st few days but im coping and making more and more friends. im not sure when i would blog again at the rate things are going but you can always skype me and stuff so we all wont lose touch.
im pretty excited to be really living independantly. im guessing i would hate it 92% of the time but it would build character as calvin's dad from calvin and hobbes would say :P i hope i turn out to be a better person.
ok, im starting to sound like a hallmark thing :) see all of you real soon!
loves.

Cold as you
And when you take, you take the very best of me.
So I start a fight 'cause I need to feel somethin'
And you do what you want 'cause I'm not what you wanted.
Oh, what a shame.
What a rainy ending given to a perfect day.
Just walk away, no use defending words that you will never say.
And now that I'm sittin' here thinkin' it through, I've never been anywhere cold as you.
You put up walls and paint them all a shade of gray.
And I stood there lovin' you and washed them all away.
And you come away with a great little story of a mess of a dreamer with the nerve to adore you.
Oh, what a shame.
What a rainy ending given to a perfect day.
So just walk away, no use defending words that you will never say.
And now that I'm sittin' here thinkin' it through, I've never been anywhere cold as you.
You never did give a damn thing, honey.
But I cried, cried for you.
And I know you wouldn't have told nobody if I died, died for you.
Oh, what a shame.
What a rainy ending give to a perfect day. Every smile you fake is so condescending.
Counted all the scars you made.
Now that I'm sittin here thinkin' it through, I've never been anywhere cold as you.

so who sings this?
me: metro station.
and you know what he says?
*
*
*
*
wait for it... wait for it.........
*
*
*
*
dad: what??? PETROL STATION???
me: =.="
now i know why im so lame. its genetic!
jk. my dad's so cool!and he loves to joke around. like me! :)

their hit single 'shake it' is super addictive!!
its bouncing around my head like a tennis ball on drugs.
(ok, i dont know why i chose that metaphor)
sooo, googled them down..
yay for internet! and..erm google!

the vocalists, trace cyrus and mason musso.
i think trace looks like marilyn manson without the heavy make up here. :P
if you dont know yet he's miley's half brother.
although i woudnt exactly say they have to-die-for looks, their voices are seriously soo fineeee and sexayy..
*swoon*

monster? MONSTER!!! ( i can never think of good titles )
this morning..
just woken up, dragging my feet down the stairs with a blank look on my face
sis: ee why you wake up so early today jas?
me: *grunt*
sis:*peers at me cautiously* jasmine?...jasmine?
me: *GRUNT*
sis: are you grumpy?
mom: whaaat?
sis: you have to test the waters one! you cant go *uses high pitch cheery voice*HI JASMINEE or she will...
hearing this, i smiled.
sis: seee if shes smiling means its ok. coast is clear.
haha i know im a total grouch when ive just woken up. usually i keep very quiet or when provoked, give evil deathly glares at the very least.
and its even worse if you try to wake me up. sometimes when im kuai ill just stumble towards the bathroom, other times ill scream (most of the time 'GO AWAYYYYY! NOW!'), whack or even throw things at you and then go back to sleep. =.="
i can hear you say "OMG UR SO MEAN!"
but when i wake up and you start complaining about how i abuse you and really, i cant remember!!
i remember one time in form 5 it was only 8smth at night and already i was so super tired, i asked matt to wake me up at 9 so i can study for the next day's test and when it was time to wake me up....yeah, ok you can imagine..
and finally when i woke up at 10 by myself, i went to him saying 'HEY didnt i ask you to wake me upppp????its 10 d!! ur suppose to bla bla bla"
and he was about to defend himself when my mom interjected with "hes so kelian! tried to wake you up and yet get scolded and yelled at" smth like that la
and i go "really ar??oh im so sorrryyyy.. i dont remember le"
i get back a 'OF COURSE YOU DONT REMEMBER..U WERE SLEEPING LIKE A PIG"
heh.
ANYWAY, i would like to make it clear that after 5 mins or so after waking up, im back to my normal smiling self. it is a FACT! :D
i dont even know why im writing this here. so bo liao man
but! now you know what to expect. dont say i didnt warn you kay. im so kind. :P

IMMA ROCKSTAR!
i loooooooooovvvvveeee pink's new dunno if its really new or not or maybe im really just kuno well, its new to me. tell me issit really new??nvm not important single, SO WHAT!
its cute, infectious and angsty.
ok this is the part where i paste all the lyrics and ta-daaa makes my post look long and wordy :D
Na Na Na Na Na Na Na
Na Na Na Na Na Na
Na Na Na Na Na Na Na
Na Na Na Na Na Na
I guess i just lost my husband
I don't know where he went
So i'm gonna drink my money
I'm not gonna pay his rent (Nope)
I got a brand new attitude
And i'm gonna wear it tonight
I wanna get in trouble
I wanna start a fight
Na Na Na Na Na Na Na
I wanna start a fight
Na Na Na Na Na Na Na
I wanna start a fight
So so what?
I'm still a rock star
I got my rock moves
And i don't need you
And guess what
I'm having more fun
And now that we're done
I'm gonna show you tonight
I'm alright, I'm just fine
And you're a tool
So so what?
I am a rockstar
I got my rock moves
And i don't want you tonight
Uh, check my flow, uh
The waiter just checked my table
And gave to Jessica Simp- Shit!
I guess i'll go sit with drum boy
At least he'll know how to hit
What if this song's on the radio
Then somebody's gonna die
I'm gonna get in trouble
My ex will start a fight
Na Na Na Na Na Na Na
He's gonna start a fight
Na Na Na Na Na Na Na
We're all gonna get in a fight!
So so what?
I'm still a rock star
I got my rock moves
And i don't need you
And guess what
I'm having more fun
And now that we're done
I'm gonna show you tonight
I'm alright, I'm just fine
And you're a tool
So so what?
I am a rock star
I got my rock moves
And i don't want you tonight
You weren't there
You never were
You want it all
But thats not fair
I gave you life
I gave my all
You weren't there
You let me fall
So so what?
I'm still a rock star
I got my rock moves
And i don't need you
And guess what
I'm having more fun
And now that we're done (we're done)
I'm gonna show you tonight
I'm alright(I'm alright),I'm just fine (I'm just fine)
And you're a tool
So so what?
I am a rock star
I got my rock moves
And i don't want you tonight
No No, No No
I Don't want you tonight

how interesting
mike decided to send me a random pic and my gigantuan task is to blog about what i THINK the whole pics about. in full gorific glorific details
heres the pic :
im guessing this is in PERTH! FO SURE!( must.act.confident)
and i will back my argument(?) with reasons!:
1) that cascade ultra C? never seen it before in malaysian supermarkets! and we have our own blackcurrent drink here,RIBENA
i saw ribena in your house last time so the only reason why that cascade bottle is htere is because theres no ribena selling in perth so u have to settle for this, RIGHT??
2) the milo cereal in malaysia are round not koko-crunch shaped!
3) the oreo is um..is umm lets skip the oreo
*
this is definately your dining table at wherever ur staying now in perth! :P
i dont think ive seen this table in your kitchen in kch heh so YEA must be it!
*
those thingies in the middle bowl are..
some animal's innards??
no, its SQUID!!
im super sure!!!
and since theres 3 plates of rice around and veggie i guess its dinner time?
but theres cereal on your table.. but no one eats squid+rice+veggie for breakfast!
wait, do you mike?
:D
*
umm im guessing dinner lah, you just have snacks all around the table because....
that table is where you put most of your foodstuff and doubles as where you eat!
muahahahah im good!
*
*
you have ketchup/chili stains on your table so you mustve had those before this and that must be lunch! confused?..... me too. T___T
OR
you just hate to clean up. like me :D
i think this dinner (which you cooked) was for..yourself, khang and ..(who else is in perth?) oh mty!!
dont look at me like that, its was worth a try!
*
*
still staring at that those stick thingies near the milo box
i think theyre... toothpicks! which you stole took from a restaurant :D
*
*
hey, that flower coaster looks like the one im using at home! did you TOOK those too?
KIDDING!
okay, running outta things to say
but mike, i like that your table is PINK!
it is your table right?

onetwothreefour!
going to kl tomorrow :D
some pre-departure briefing.
i feel weird about uni. my emotions seem to be going through alternating phases of excited-ness and pure indifference.
i dread the feeling of homesickness which i know will enrapture me for a few months before i settle in.
sucks.
but no matter what, ill get through it
the good, the bad, one way or another.
and it'll be a heck of an experience.
okay done with the emo-ing ...and trying to cheer myself up =.="
apart from the briefing, a lotta things have to be done in a short period of time while im in kl. pretty looking forward to the 2 day trip with my mom! no idea why. all logic points to the fact that theres gonna be alot of rushing and chaotism but i dont seem to mind. (maybe ild take that back when i finally collapse due to sheer exhaustion but we'll see)
:D
my dad told me about people who are really phobic about giant flowers. they think the flowers are going to... eat them. um cool, never thought of them that way :P
since im really phobic about a certain animal, i guess i can empathise. it doesnt matter how irrational others feel you are reacting to something THEY think is common or normal or acceptable or non-threatening or okay u get it, its just..you cant help it.
AND NO! deliberately exposing people to their phobias is NOT, i repeat NOT(!!!) a way of helping them get over their fears okay??!! you're not doing anyone a favour (maybe yourself if you're a sadist and all the psychiatrists in the region) but definately not your 'friend' you traumatised. i dont care if theres scientifical evidence or what not. who ever came up with that should get scared the shiz out when s/he is not expecting it for the next 35 years!
lalalalalala
i should try and get some sleep. my sleeping patterns are way off the mark. again.

NO TITLE!
my blog has turned into a ranting hell hole of some sort recently
so i was planning to write about something happy and joyful so that no one would slit their wrists in agony.
BUT i thought long and hard (not really) and surprise *SURPRISE* i couldnt think of anything at all!
GASP!!
oh, RANDOM!! i know that you know my english sucks but did you know that i never really knew how to spell 'SURPRISE' from kindergarten till high school? i always wrote it out as SUPRISE and even when i spelt it correctly i kept wondering if its right. i mean yeah, i remind myself theres an extra R there but when i spell it out the next time i would get it wrong EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. some psycho effect.
omg im ranting again. :D
PS: im not depressed or anything. i just talk alot. of crap.

hiiii!!
i am like, so so so bored!
to the extent that im actually blogging.
i mean, i actually spent 2.5 hours with my left and right brain grappling whether or not should i blog.
*sits in front of computer* mentally says to self,
"should i update my blog?"
'nolah, aiyah so lazy'
'but you got nothing to do wad' ---> geddit? coz thats the title of my blog? omg! osh kosh bgosh! im so lame even talking to myself =.="
"dont wan means dont wan!"
repeat similar internal exchange of information for the next.. 25 mins (ok i lied about the 2.5 hours..but close enough)
and here im blogging..
you see you see you seeee? i gave you a little snippet as to what kind of post this will be. yep a BORE the socks out of you kind! i mean c'mon what do you expect when a super bored person meets blogger? So, you know the drill, save yourself!/selves, i think my readership is like max 10 peeps but once all you guys reach the end, there would be only one left! ( i didnt say none, see who says im pessimistic?)
dont say i didnt warn you if its all nonsense, complainy and whiny and ranty and whaaaaat??-inducing. its suppose to be.
do you know how HOT today was? even my mom who normally says "oh now, c'mon its not THAT hot", totally agrees with me! kch practically IS sahara desert..
i took like 3 showers and not even 5 mins after ive changed, i start to sweat again. hypothesis: someone can get fried out there! eh should it be conclusion since i already know you can. no, wait it should be a hypothesis cause i didnt actually carry it out and its a suggestion and okaythisisnotmakingsenseeventomeandsoishouldstophere.
lalalalalalaa
how did anyone decide that the word 'rock(s)' should be used for something thats awe-inspiring?
e.g. 'OMG spongebob sqpants totally ROCKS!!!'
i mean.. rocks? those things at the quarry? oh, they didnt specify, diamonds are rocks too. oh maybe from rock and roll!
ANYWAY,
theres this yogurt drink that really does rocks! okay,im starting to dislike the word 'rocks' ,maybe i overused it. but who cares, now its the yogurt drink that counts not my ever-shrinking vocab!
i'm probably the last person ever to have discovered this! hmm actually my sis has been badgering me to try it for the last decade( haha i lie!), few years ago. but who cares, now its the yogurt drink that counts not the length of time ive been avoiding it!
soOOOoooooOOOooooo, presentingg..

my most favouritest-est flavour has got to be strawberry! i always imagine yogurt drinks to be, you know, thick , slimy, soury concoction that leaves a mucus-y aftertaste at the back of your throat. but noooooot anymore!! the texture is just like milk, sweeet and and and the best way to describe it is to go 'its like yogurt but not like yogurt'..oh, OHHH so thats why they make yogurt drinks...im so bimbo sometimes it scares me -_-" nevermind we ALL have blonde moments.
im addicted to shows like
and

on E!..................................i cant help it! :D.........................................
oh and the three CSI's
+ House
+ Ugly Betty
+ My wife and kids
+ 8 simple rules
and of course SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS, naww u know i wont forget you!!

spongebob expresses his gratitude
ive been like home-ridden 24/7 for a week now because SOMEONE has EXAMS in a MONTH and not doing anything about it. gargh. i hate tutoring to the cells of my being. but this is family. no choice.
good thing im starting back at the pharm or ill go crazy!!well, im kinda starting to show symptoms, so not before long now.. :)
i still have a loooota things to say but so lazy lah. :D yes, my attention span is really just that short.

tongue-tied
there was so much I wanted to say.
but during those minutes, i just couldnt.
i tried feebly to explain
and to convey how much i appreciate, am thankful and sorry..
but the lump in my throat cuts me off,
i couldnt get the words out.
i'm so sorry.

lalallalalala
cant believe its been a week plus since ive been back :)
and in this seemingly short period of time, i found out that:
-NOTHING BEATS HOME!
-its SO hard to be a teacher especially one of a 12 year old kid with rebellion coursing through his viens, defying EVERY SINGLE WORD YOU SAY! gah.
-sarawak laksa is still the best
-my family is addicted to white lady (yummy drink, non-alcoholic)
-its scorching hot everyday
-people actually believed the 3-day-petrol-station-closure and went into panic buying like the last time with the GREEN BEANS ( of all foodstuffs)
-theres a new used-book shop next to the pharmacy! novels etc for 6 or 7 bucks each!
-its been years since i watched a movie with my parents at the cinema so we went last sunday :)
-that said, kung fu panda was good! funny, cute, amazing graphics. i like!
-im tired
but happy :D

uhh...
angelina jolie.
i dont know why i do, i just dont like her.
and i dont understand why when people find out about it go WHY??? and then try to force feed wunnerful facts about her into my noggin in a built-in-instinct attempt to make me like her. it never works anyway
oh i AM aware she didnt do anything to me and i dont know her personally (DUH) its just like how there are some celebs you just instantaneously like or dont regardless what they did or didnt do.
get it? no? i'm the only one? nevermind.
alright you dont have to go on an i-hate-jasmine-coz-she-hates-my-idol thing, i dont HATE her as in, i sit all night seething in anger that she lives or masterminding plots on how to take her down or smth. i do have a life okay.
more of, i'm already at the cashier but i suddenly noticed, hey its her on the front page cover and i abandon all intentions on purchasing the said magazine.
see, i'm harmless
but i really really do want to watch...

i hope its well worth it!

whoooo
1 letter, 2 words
A LEVELS, OVER!!
not officially, since the results are not out until august, but ive sat for my last paper and as far as i'm concern, it's done with!
besides, i'm NOT taking anything like this ever again! i dont care if my results come out shitty and i'm unable to qualify for any university courses, i'ld gladly take any pre-U course except this one!
thats how bad i found it. and i'm not exaggerating. another 1.5 years of this pure torture? nah, ild pass thank you very much. heck, ive been waiting for this day to come since..forever! ok maybe a year.
you say, 'haiyoh, it cant be that bad'.
i say,' u sit for my papers and then tell me'
i'm sure any a leveller sitting for the a2 this year will agree with me that the cambridge examination council is really OUT TO GET US. bio 4 and mech, pretty much expected qns like those to come out BUT chem p4, chem p5, bio p5, MATH P3??? *&%$@!#
past year papers? pah theyre nothing compared to this. so i say, good luck to you those taking the finals in nov, cambridge really expect a hell lot more from you now.
*cross fingers* please please moderate please please moderate!
ok, went off the tangent there :P back to the most important point, it is OVER, happiness overwhelms.
i'm not adapted to the sudden freedom, i mean after so many weeks of exams looming and shadowing at the back of your head, guess its only fair to give the old brain some time to adjust.
i found myself, a few times today, particularly when i was having fun, thinking OH NO next paper coming up. and then remembering STUPID, you finish ur exams larh duh!
its like my brain is feeling guilty for..having fun and so tries to take myself down a notch by reminding me theres STILL exams even when i have none!
gah i guess that mechanism was the leftovers from the months before!
OMG this might take a while to go away!
or im just being paranoid!
i should seriously stop boring you with my theories!
and typing in sentences that end with exclamation marks!
MOVING ON,
today was helluva fun day :) bio p5 sucks shit didnt go so well this morning, but whatever, read all those i-don-care-its-all-over stuff above, so wern ching, wei yee and i headed to sunway pyramid for lunch, taking lots of pictures :P spending the last few hours of the afternoon together before literally heading separate ways. not to worry! theres definately a time where we would meet up again.
at night, headed off to teluk gong, klang for yummy seafood :) with yvonne and the rest of the acts tv crew. will post more on that when i'm not so lazy i get pictures
awesome!

previously,recently,currently...
" I try so many times
But it's not taking me
And it seems so long ago
That I used to believe
And I'm so lost inside of my head
And crazy
But I cant get out of it
I'm just stumbling
And I'm juggling all the thoughts in my head
I'm juggling and my fears on fire
But I'm listening as it evolves in my head
I'm balancing on one fine wire
And I remember the time my balance was fine
And I was just walking on one fine wire
I remember the time my balance was fine
And I was just walking on one fine wire
But It's frayed at both the ends
And I'm slow unraveling
Life plays so many games inside of me
And I've had some distant cries, following
And their entwined between the night and sun beams
I wish I were free from this pain in me "

Thank you!
14th of march, i turned 19
A big THANK YOU! to everyone who remembered.
--> for the smses, birthday greetings in person, on facebook, friendster, long-distance calls, e-mail, instant messages, poems! You guys know who you are.
Thanks for the dedication posts sally and tiff :) brought back memories of the times we've been thru (ARGH im making this mushy but its true!)
Another round of applause for the pink and yellow core teams!! Really didnt expected it as they wished me already before and during the meeting at AYA. After the meet, lights suddenly went off, i dont know who covered my eyes and michelle and tessie carried me all the way into another room.everything was done so quickly! SCREAMING and laughing because i was afraid they would tickle me.
eunice on the guitar and everyone was singing the birthday song.
they only let me go when they had a cake brought out with the candles lit. :)
There was also a giant banner made out of 5 cardboards was there reading: " HAPPY BIRTHDAY JASMINE! WE LOVE YOU!" in capitals ( this new layout wont let me type in capitals!! rawr)i think its time to change. i love capitals too much hehe :P
anyway, wow, im amazed people would actually do this for me :D
i got to keep the banner but it was too big to hang anywhere in my room so ild bring it back to kch. cake was lovely and the company was awesome.
Again, thanks so much everyone. i appreciate every single effort.
its pretty nice to feel loved.
sorry about the post being so monotonous :P. im extremely tired its been a long day. ild share another time about the other thing thats bothering my mind and its not about my studies altho i shud be worrying about that. but its fine.
i ve always admired sally's strong front. no matter what comes her way, she's focused and unwavered. yes, shes been my rock since forever, giving strength when im losing my ground.
so ild do what you do, sally. this time, instead of feeling inadequate and shying away when bad news arrive, ild step up, prove my worth and hell-bent to see my dreams realised.
And so what if the nay-sayers are right, even if i fall, ild get up and run for another try. its doesnt matter the number of trials because when victory is at hand, its gonna taste a thousand times sweeter.
why bother? because life's too short to allow disappointments and what-ifs take over

boo!
" 3 months and not a word from you. HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME??
REMEMBER who became your outlet whenever u needed to vent and rant?
the one who kept your memories ( only the ones you bothered to type out, you lazy ass) in archived files faithfully??
WHY? i demand an explanation!!
look at the precious minutes visitors WASTE just typing the blogsite into the address box to find that i have nothing to offer them, I FEEL SO ASHAMED! and all because SOMEBODY didnt bother to even say HI! "
thats my blog wailing.
it misses me :)
anyway, i promise*(see below) i will blog about everything and anything under the sun once the a2 exams are over ok?
being 0% prepared, im so lazy im starting to scare myself and its march already!! its not like i have alot of time left.
3 and a 1/2 months and i'ld be done and flying for home.
i wonder, will i miss this place? as much as ive been complaining, 1 and a half yrs at another place does get to you..
ok before i turn this into a gay emo post , ild leave it to when i actually get there!
SLEEP! i will study erm...soon!
y cant i be more hardworking like sally? spare me some willpower ok?
---------------
[* depending on mood and availability of internet connection :)]
i leave everything into Your hands
because experiences have shown me that
You always know better
